MISSION
STATEMENT
To provoke thought, and support independent filmmaking as as a
medium
for social change, as we explore the things indivuals had to quit to
become a better version of themselves.
Sara Nunez Bee was born in Peru. At 14 years old, she knew performing was
her calling, for which she convinced her mother to allow her stay in the US,
when the plan was only to visit. She knew this was the country of
opportunity. She has written, acted in, and produced 3 feature films, and 3
short films.
In January 2025, she learned that listening to her conscience was listening
to the voice of God, and at 6am, while on a jog, she clearly got the
instructions to open Successful Quitters Film Festival.
“My love for acting saved me. It has helped me to navigate through life, and to cope with
all the difficulties of moving to a new county. I want to leave this world better than I
found it through story telling, and support others to do the same.”, she implies.
